About Steve Faigle Legacy Jewelers
Steve Faigle Legacy Jewelers carries a rich history that began during the Depression when Joseph Faigle Sr. started buying gold door-to-door, eventually establishing a small workshop in downtown Cincinnati. With his brother, they created fine jewelry pieces and later moved to a larger space on Casa Loma in Western Hills. Steve Faigle joined the family trade in 1965, learning from his grandfather, father, and uncle.
In 1971, the business transitioned to a full retail store named Faigle Jewelers, flourishing under the guidance of Joseph Jr. and Gil, with Steve playing an increasingly important role. The store continued to thrive, and in 1987, Steve and his brothers, Dave and Joe Jr., took over, growing the business further. Despite the passing of key family members, Steve and Dave led the store to success, later evolving into Steve Faigle Legacy Jewelers.
Today, Steve Faigle Legacy Jewelers operates at 3301 Westbourne Avenue, continuing the family legacy. Steve, alongside his wife Kathy, children Julie and Matthew, and cousin Jeanne, invites customers for jewelry repairs, new pieces, or simply to reconnect. The legacy of craftsmanship, quality, and community service remains the foundation of the store’s enduring success.
