Scope of Warranty

This warranty, extended by Sylvie Jewelry, is confined to the repair and/or replacement of products found to be defective or non-compliant with brand manufacturing standards. The decision regarding repair or replacement lies solely with Sylvie Jewelry.

Sylvie Jewelry expressly disclaims responsibility for any failure of the product to perform as expected, or for damages such as the loss of stones or any other non-conformities arising from or related to:

  • Misuse of the product;
  • Neglect, abuse, or accidental damage inflicted upon the product;
  • Clear and excessive strain on the product;
  • Any modification or work (including, but not limited to, resizing, stone setting, repairs, re-polishing, etc.) that adversely affects the material or craftsmanship of the original Sylvie Jewelry piece;
  • Any craftsmanship or repair executed by any entity not recognized as an authorized retailer by Sylvie Jewelry.

Exclusions from Warranty Services

Sylvie Jewelry explicitly excludes services such as resizing or cleaning from this warranty. Nonetheless, Sylvie Jewelry’s authorized retail partners may provide these services before and after the purchase of Sylvie Jewelry products.

Product Range and Center Stones

Sylvie Jewelry specializes in the design, craftsmanship, and distribution of designer jewelry and engagement rings, exclusive of center diamonds or gemstones. The warranty provided by Sylvie Jewelry does not extend to any center stones and will not cover loss or damage of these stones at any point. Sylvie Jewelry strongly advises that all Sylvie Jewelry product owners maintain an insurance policy to cover the total value of their product(s).

Warranty Process

Procedure for Reporting Defects

In the rare event of a defect in your jewelry, you are urged to notify the authorized Sylvie Jewelry retailer from whom the purchase was made within 30 days of purchase. The authorized retailer will then liaise with Sylvie Jewelry to ascertain if the jewelry requires assessment by our professionals. In cases where the product is sent to Sylvie Jewelry, a comprehensive quality control inspection will be conducted to determine warranty applicability.

Warranty Activation Requirements

Sylvie Jewelry will act under this warranty upon receiving the product from the Sylvie authorized retailer where it was purchased, accompanied by:

  • The product in question.
  • Legible proof of purchase, including the date of receipt.

Sylvie Jewelry does not offer insurance for the product and assumes no responsibility for loss or damage incurred during transit.

Limitation of Liability

Sylvie Jewelry and its Authorized Retailers will not be liable for any damages, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or otherwise, in contract, tort (including negligence and strict liability), Including, but not limited to, loss of anticipated profits or benefits, resulting from or connected with the product’s use or inability to be used. This limitation applies even if Sylvie Jewelry or its authorized dealer has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The total liability of Sylvie Jewelry or its dealers shall not exceed the price paid by you for the product.
