Award-winning designer, Sylvie, was born and raised in Antwerp, Belgium, the center of the world’s diamond trade. Growing up surrounded by diamonds, Sylvie inherited a deep passion for these gems from her family’s long lineage of diamond masters. This love for diamonds eventually led her to meet her husband, Ian — a serendipitous encounter that blossomed into both a personal and professional partnership. Together, they founded Sylvie Jewelry, a brand built on 30 years of diamond expertise through Ian’s company, Spectrum Diamonds.
Sylvie is as fluent in the art of design as she is in 5 different languages and is committed to designing diamond jewelry that is innovative, fresh and trend forward. Sylvie’s designs are a reflection of her deep love for artistry and her commitment to ethical sourcing and personalized service. Every design that crosses her desk is a testament to her hands-on approach and her belief in crafting pieces that are as unique as the individuals who wear them.

1986
Ian Levine immigrates to the US from South Africa, in search of the American Dream. In 1987, Ian Levine establishes Spectrum Diamonds, a jewelry manufacturer and diamond merchant.
1988
Sylvie Levine begins her career in her hometown of Antwerp, Belgium, the center of the World’s Diamond Trade.
1992
Ian and Sylvie meet for the first time while visiting Tel Aviv; they would go on to stay in touch for the next year while on opposite sides of the Atlantic. Ian and Sylvie got married in 1994, and began to build a life and business together in Texas.
2007
The Sylvie brand is born.
2021
Gary Levine, the eldest son of owners Sylvie and Ian Levine, joins the company.
2022
Sylvie celebrates 15 years, unveils brand evolution, and is named a Top Jewelry Brand for the 4th consecutive year by retailers in the Instore BIG Survey.
2023
Steve Levine, the second son of founders Sylvie and Ian Levine, joins the company.
Sylvie has a record breaking year announcing 2 new bridal collections, 8 distinct fine jewelry collections and a product expansion into the men’s bands industry.
Sylvie and Ian Levine continue their family’s rich legacy through Gary and Steve. As the next generation, they bring fresh perspectives while staying true to the brands founding principles ensuring that Sylvie Jewelry remains a symbol of elegance, love, and life’s most cherished celebrations.
