Trying to decide on one of the most important outfits you’ll ever wear? We know your engagement photos are important & that’s why we are here to help! We’re sharing the top fashion trends for the summer/fall just in time for some of your beautiful engagement photo-shoots. We’re seeing mini dresses, dark greens, & even midi styles. Before you start shopping or shopping your closet, check out our engagement photo outfit trends for 2019! We won’t steer you in the wrong direction.

1. Mustard Yellow

Mustard yellow is the color of fall! Warm, romantic, and the perfect  color dress to wear for your shoot. It’ll work well with any white backdrop that you may use or even a rustic wooded or field area that you and your S.O. can dance in. The style that would fit best with your shoot would be a flowy wrap dress or something light that moves with the wind for the photos. This neutral yet fun pop of color is the perfect addition to your fall pictures.

2. Eyelet

Eyelet dresses are the perfect mix of feminine and soft! They are ethereal and give off that romantic look that most brides want to feel when looking at their engagement pictures. This style is perfect because it looks good in midi, mini, and maxi. It’s the perfect style for destination pictures and photos taken by the beach or in warmer climates. You can still get those summer engagement photos in September if you live anywhere like Miami or Texas. No white after Labor Day has been thrown out – old news. Break the rules and wear your most feminine white dress for a look that’ll stand out and make for beautiful photos.

3. Wrap Dresses

Another super feminine and sweet piece that honestly works for any time of the year except winter of course! If you don’t want your photos to be traditionally fall (sweaters and hats) then you can go for a flowy or simple wrap dress that will compliment the scene, but still keep you light and feeling like summer. We recommend a floral or simple white wrap dress, but any color would do. Darker color palettes are very in for fall (of course), but if you’re into switching up the rules a little bit you can go for something lighter that will pop against a darker backdrop such as, a wooded rustic area.

4. Shades of green

Shades of dark green. We are in! This is one of our favorite looks because it pulls in that feeling of fall, while still allowing you to be feminine and romantic. Green reminds us most of thanksgiving, fall, Christmas.. so this is the perfect addition for your fall themed photo shoot. You can either go for a maxi dress that will bring a more casual feel to your photos or a mini cocktail dress that’ll spice up the pictures and it’s perfect for the holidays!
