HOW THEY MET
We met in March of 2019 and started dating shortly thereafter. After our first date, we hung out everyday for a month. We were INSEPARABLE. I think we both knew very early on that we had something special. We actually met on a dating app. One of his friends convinced him to join – I was the first person he met and the rest is history!
HOW DID YOU KNOW THEY WERE THE ONE?
I knew I was going to be with Franklin after our first trip. We went hiking in Asheville, NC and I ended up getting really sick. He didn’t panic, but took care of me and was constantly kind and reassuring.
HOW DID HE PROPOSE?
Well, we used a family stone for the center stone of the ring. It had been sitting in my jewelry box for a month and I knew that would have to go missing before he could propose. One day while I was at work, he took the old ring to the jewelry store and had them put a CZ in it and returned it to my jewelry box. I never checked to even see that something had changed. Two days later we went for a walk in a beautiful park in Downtown Charleston, SC and he asked! I was super surprised because he had me convinced that it was not going to happen when it did.

I love how it sparkles and how unique it is! I have never seen anything like it!
AS A YES GIRL, WHAT DO YOU SAY “YES” TO IN LIFE?
I said yes to spending forever with my best friend. For weekend hikes, kayak dates and long bike rides. For the love and the laughter and joy he brings to my life. For getting to share every joy and sorrow in life with the person who loves me most. I said yes to a lifetime with a person who makes me want to be a better person.
