Initially, they sold jewelry at craft shows during their college years and summers starting in 1977, evolving from a seasonal store in Saco in 1980 to a permanent fixture in Old Port the following year. The store has grown and transformed within the same location, benefiting from expansions that cater to a growing customer base who seek unique, handcrafted jewelry.
The family at D. Cole Jewelers now includes their son Ryan, daughter Emily, daughter-in-law Lindsey, and Denise’s brother Jeff, enriching the business with a blend of family dedication and artisan skill.
