About Rose Jewelers
Rose Jewelers’ story begins with its founder, George B. Rose, who embarked on an ambitious journey from Germany to America at the age of 21. Settling initially in Poughkeepsie, New York, George was soon drawn by the allure of the westward movement, eventually finding his calling in La Crosse, WI.
The legacy of Rose Jewelers is not just built on exquisite craftsmanship but also on the adaptability and vision of the Rose family. The business’s relocation in 1960 to 5th Avenue South, and later its move in 1989 to the corner of 5th and Main Street, symbolize the evolution and resilience of the family’s commitment to excellence in jewelry. Steve Rose, representing the continuity of this legacy, has imparted his invaluable knowledge and passion to his sons, Jon and Jordan, who are now poised to propel Rose Jewelers into the future.
Today, Jon, a fifth-generation jeweler with support from his brother Jordan, is at the helm, carrying the family tradition forward. The store, under their family’s guidance, continues to offer an exquisite collection of jewelry that reflects both traditional elegance and modern sophistication.
